TOMODY Corporation is excited to announce the launch of "WRIDGE LIVE," an online live streaming switching service, accompanied by an event featuring presentations and demonstrations of the service.
The demand for live streaming is rapidly growing across various situations. However, this process typically requires advanced equipment and professional expertise, and is therefore expensive. This has made it difficult to meet the demand for live distribution and to increase the frequency of live distribution. "WRIDGE LIVE" overcomes these obstacles by enabling remote camera control over the internet, deploying a cloud-based switcher, allowing for live streaming with just a single smartphone, and providing a simple UI that can be easily operated by non-professionals.
At this launch event, CEO Takeshi Tomimori will talk about the current status and challenges of live streaming in the video industry, "WRIDGE LIVE"
product explanation and various expected usage scenarios, and the future development of the Live Solution business promoted by TOMODY. The presentation will also cover the future development of TOMODY's Live Solution business. In addition, we will demonstrate simultaneous live broadcasts from three locations (TOMODY booth at Inter BEE 2023, outside Makuhari Messe, and Conference Room 103) using "WRIDGE LIVE" and remote control of cameras over the Internet using Canon's XC protocol. Visitors will be able to see how little time lag there is, which is rare in conventional live streaming services, and how anyone can easily operate the camera remotely from the site with a single smartphone. In addition, a demonstration of LIVE VIEW, currently under development in collaboration with micware Corporation, will be held as an example of Live Solution.
