Evolving networking technology and the future of broadcast systems
Ethernet and IP, which is standard to carry broadcast signals, will continue to evolve. 400 Gigabit Ethernet is being introduced in AI platforms, cloud and data centers. 800 Gbit Ethernet have been launched on the market, and the implementation for 1.6 Terabit Ethernet are progressing as well. In this session, we will introduce the trends in Ethernet and the market, and then discuss what broadcasters expect from such technological evolution in the future and what challenges they may face.
