Toshiba Lighting & Technology Corporation/Toshiba Lighting & Engineering Corporation collaborated in a joint-exhibition at Inter BEE 2014, displaying a variety of products that included their lighting equipment for television studios and stages. The introduction of their full LCD lighting system that interacts through bi-directional communication with a variety of lighting fixtures such as illumination consoles and LED lighting fixtures, as well as their exhibition of new equipment were very popular.
Toshiba Lighting & Engineering Corporation is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Toshiba Lighting & Technology Corporation and manages their lighting business. They primarily work in the fields of art lighting that assists spatial presentations onstage and in studios, and engineering for the design and construction of various lighting equipment, all with the goal of bettering lifestyles and making society more comfortable through "brightness" and "light."
Ms. Mai Mochida, who is in charge of products from Toshiba Lighting & Technology Corporation's art lighting department, said "Through cooperation between our two companies, we provide user-friendly LED products and services with lighting technologies of the highest standards."
■ Reference Exhibit of FORTEX’s High Output Model
For LED lighting devices, the FORTEX LED spotlight series, including flood and full color LED horizontal lights, were on exhibit. This time, there was also a reference exhibit for the FORTEX series high output model. Furthermore, the exhibitions displaying new models of transportable dimmer, portable demister, and a user-friendly fade box also garnered attention. Ms. Mochida said "The high output and high color rendering represent our company’s highest features in LED lighting devices. All of our devices have been designed to allow the best lighting in performance spaces."
■ The Exhibit, which Allowed Visitors to Experience the Merits of the System through Actual Operation, Was Well-Received
The Full LED system makes use of RDM (remote device management) to provide feedback of various information from the LED lighting device to the console, further enabling a direct experience of lighting operation. A variation of this system that incorporated baton lighting was also on display. Ms. Mochida said "We were very well-received for having an exhibition where visitors could operate the system to see its merits. We want to continue providing exhibitions that allow visitors to experience the advantages of our products in the future."
