Inter BEE 2014 TV: AD Techno showcases HDBaseT compatible HDMI splitters and extenders, capable of non-compressed 4-way split 4K/30p images
2015.1.26 UP
AD Techno, vendor of DLSR and broadcast system peripherals including professional monitors, used its Inter BEE 2014 booth to exhibit its HDMI signal splitter/extenders, the HD-07HPS transmitter and HD-07HPER receiver, both compatible with HDBaseT standards. The transmitter goes for approximately ¥90K, and the receiver for around ¥150K. They were both released for sale in mid-December.
These machines are capable of splitting 4K/30p or Full HD images up to four ways, uncompressed. HDBaseT can transmit signals up to 70 meters, limiting delay and quality deterioration due to the images being non-compressed.
In addition to A/V and control signals, they can receive power from up to four units. Use of category 5 and 6 twisted pair LAN cables keeps costs down, while simultaneous extension of four HDMI signals safeguards against signal attenuation for a more stable video output.
Their 12-bit RGB color capability enables deep color expression, and they come equipped with EDID emulation function.
