[Inter BEE 2014] Pond5 - Promotion of the "Pond5" site developed by Pond5 to sell stock footage - Providing interface with Adobe Premier Pro

Pond5 (Headquarters: New York, USA) will exhibit at Inter BEE 2014 to be held over the course of three days from Wednesday, November 19th to Friday, November 21st, 2014 (Booth number: 61061) and promote the "Pond5" site that they have developed to sell stock footage.

■ Extensive royalty-free footage - 4K and RAW data also available
　Pond5 Inc. is developing the "Pond5" site that sells royalty-free stock footage, photographs, and songs. Pond5 enables creators and musicians to post their photos, videos, illustrations, 3D images, and music and set their own sale price. They can then receive 50% of the sale price as a royalty. It currently has over 800,000 registered members. The registered materials include 3 million video clips, 11 million photographs, and 1.8 million illustrations. Steve Penafiel, the marketing and event manager, explained that the video footage "includes lifestyle, motion backgrounds, video effects, and 4K video." In addition, there are 110,000 4K clips and over 30 million RAW files.

■ Preview possible on Adobe Premier Pro before purchase
　Pond5 also has an interface available that enables users to preview on Adobe Premier Pro before purchasing. The video clips that can be previewed have a low resolution, but can be used at a high bitrate when purchased. It should be noted that the preview version can be used for free.

■ Japanese site planned for launch next January
　Steve Penafiel explained of their reason for exhibiting at InterBEE, "We currently have 3,000 Japanese users registered, so we are exhibiting here to promote it for future expansion in the Japanese market. We are currently creating a Japanese site, and I will show you the beta version here. We plan to officially open the Japanese site next January."
