[Inter BEE 2014] MEMORY-TECH Exhibits Their LTO Archive Turnkey System “LTARC-1000” with Internal Content Management Software

MEMORY-TECH held an exhibit centered on their LTO archive turnkey system “LTARC-1000” (pictured above) at Inter BEE 2014, including a testable LTO archive and content management system unit.

The “LTARC-1000” is a turnkey system that contains a content management system and LTO control software on a single server. Mr. Munemoto said “All the functions for content management and archiving are included, and you can begin archiving as soon as it’s installed”. This product is scheduled to go on sale in January 2015. Mr. Shigeyama said “We’ve had a great reception from the visitors at Inter BEE. From the number of inquiries we’ve gotten, we’re looking to increase our sales.”

■ Recording Media Advancing at a High Pace
Mr. Yusuke Munemoto, chief of the system technology section of MEMORY-TECH’s digital solutions sales division, said “The revolutionary IT wave symbolized by the dramatic diffusion of the internet has necessitated a rapid shift in tempo for recording media as well. Grasping the flow of the times first, MEMORY-TECH, focusing on optical discs such as DVD, CD and CD-ROM, strives to provide valuable software in the most advanced forms.

Mr. Shinichi Shigeyama of the DS sales section of the digital solution sales division emphasized “Our field spans many industries, from imaging, sound, computers, and publishing, to internet related businesses. Our company, based on its history up until now, aims to be an integrated service provider business that provides high value-added services to broadcasters by first looking at their various needs related to advances in recording media, and then realizing the best solutions for our customers that also bring out the best in software.”.

■ Low Cost and Stable Operations Management
Mr. Munemoto had the following to say about this company’s strengths, “We have been realizing low cost and stable management of long term archives for large volume data archives with sound, image, and digital publishing, by providing software solutions that utilize a multi-level strategy, with optical disks and LTO for long term archive storage combined with RAID for short term storage."
