Inter BEE 2013 TV: Avid showcasing a variety of products and solutions based on “Avid Everywhere” - Session with artists visiting Japan from the film “Star Trek Into Darkness”

Avid Technology (booth 4617) is showcasing a wide variety of Avid products and solutions for broadcasting, post-production, and live sound, based on its industry-oriented strategic vision “Avid Everywhere.”
On the main stage, they are presenting file-based workflows with enhanced audio/video product integration and maximal media utilization, in addition to the latest versions of their products. For one of the workflows, they have invited Matt Evans (editor) and Skywalker Sound’s Will Files (mixer) from the production team of the film “Star Trek Into Darkness” to demonstrate a workflow utilizing Media Composer and Pro Tools. They are also conducting demonstrations of an end-to-end remote production workflow made possible by Avid solutions and a 4K high-res conform workflow on Media Composer 7. In addition, they are presenting an audio demonstration by recording engineer Yuji Sugiyama.
In the video corner, they are conducting demonstrations of a 4K conform workflow on Media Composer 7 along with the quick, web browser-based news production and delivery tool Interplay Central and Interplay Sphere, which enables collaborative production from remote locations. In the presentation room, they are giving demonstrations (by reservation) of Interplay MAM.
In the audio corner, they are showing Pro Tools 11, as well as the S3L live sound console and the S6 console which was announced at IBC2013 and supports integration with Pro Tools HD systems. They have also set up an “AAX plug-in corner” with a full array of Pro Tools 11-compatible 64-bit AAX plug-ins.
