At their Inter BEE 2015 booth (booth number 6405), EMC Japan introduce the "EMC Isilon scale-out NAS". It represents innovative file storage and is the leader in the scale-out NAS market, its biggest merit being its "single file system". Up to a maximum of 50 petabytes (50,000 terabytes) the disk capacity and performance can be freely extended as a single file system.
Expansion and daily management tasks are also easy. Large capacity files, such as 4K material, etc., can be read and written quickly, and it is well suited to editing tasks. With enterprise-level data safeguards and restoring functionality, it is also perfect for protecting data.
At the booth, details about the "EDIUS-Isilon", which was announced in October, are also introduced.
