At Inter BEE 2016, held at Makuhari Messe over 3 days from November 16th (Wed) to 18th (Fri), Photron exhibited "TFX-Artist," a self-developed television opaque projector system.
"TFX-Artist" is a self-developed television opaque projector system that has been utilized in many post production operations since being released in August of this year. Its characteristics are as follows.
●Pursuit of uniqueness achieved by being self-developed in Japan
Maximizes the information contained in fonts, such as kerning and variant characters. It also contains features to convert horizontal and vertical scripts, as well as original plug-ins, such as bevel and light effects.
●Pursuit of ease of use
Specifications were decided based on opinions and requests from work locations. Color adjustments, rotation, and movement of textures, as well as PDF output of graphics are also popular.
●Pursuit of work speed
The responses are very quick and TFX-Artist has complementary features for the work processes of television opaque projector production, streamlining the non-linear editing system and selection of fonts.
