【Inter BEE 2015 TV】SUNPHONIX showed SOUNDMINER, a sound effects and background music search system. The audio files can be instantly transferred to DAW. A dedicated database can also be created for each project. Also exhibited were the AVASTOR PRO series HDD and SSD units for video- and sound-editing studios.

SUNPHONIX showed SOUNDMINER v4Pro-J, a sound effects and background music search system. This software has been installed at over 5,000 locations around the world.
It can search through a library of sound effects and background music files and enable you to listen to the files. You can also use it to create a database for each video or project. Searching through jackets is also possible. The files you find can be easily transferred to DAW such as ProTools and Nuendo. File conversions up to 192 kHz are possible.
The audio file's metadata can be edited, and many file formats can be read such as WAV, BWF, AIFF, mp3, and AAC (mp4).
Databases can also be easily set to be shared on a server.
SUNPHONIX also showed the AVASTOR PRO A/V HARD DRIVE external storage devices geared for film and audio-editing studios and broadcast stations. The HDX 1500 has a 3.5-inch disk, and the PDX 800 has a 2.5-inch disk. The XR4 can house four 1U-size devices. SUNPHONIX also demonstrated the new XMR that can house a maximum 4TB HDD or a 2TD SSD. Compatible with Thunderbolt connections.
