【Inter BEE 2013 TV】 Carina System Co., Ltd. ― Exhibiting the "Cambria Live Broadcast Internet-based content delivery system and delay-editing workflow"
2013.11.14 UP
Carina System Co., Ltd. (booth: 5302-3) is exhibiting the Cambria Live Broadcast Internet-based content delivery system and delay-editing workflow. They are demonstrating their system for cutting live Internet broadcasting and VOD (video on demand) files that make use of that live content. The system was adopted for the daily broadcast of the 2013 National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament.
The material transmitted over the Internet can be simultaneously recorded as a file. As the content is being transmitted to a Flash Media Server, it is also stored in NAS (network-attached storage). The recorded material can be edited directly. As the material is recorded, a timeline representing the material lengthens, and within this timeline, required segments can be selected by marking IN and OUT points. Finally, the list of IN and OUT points is output as a file. In the demo, rendering is done on a separate PC running Cambria FTC so that one can immediately return to editing after this file is output.
