[Inter BEE 2016 TV] Tac System Exhibits Several Audio over IP Related Products, such as Ravenna / Dante Products Compatible with AES67

At Inter BEE 2016, held at Makuhari Messe over 3 days from November 16th (Wed) to 18th (Fri), Tac System held exhibitions. Their booths were located in the Pro Audio Department (3214) and Video Production / Broadcasting Equipment Department (3311).

In the Pro Audio Department, several Audio over IP related products, such as Ravenna / Dante products compatible with AES67 were exhibited. PTP (Precision Time Protocol) Grand Master Clock Generator OMICRON "OTMC-100i" was exhibited for the first time. With PTP as the master clock, DirectOut Technologies products, Cymatic Audio products, and NTP / DAD products, among others, that are compatible with AES67 were connected through a network in the exhibit. In addition to TAC VMC-102, a power amp with built-in 32ch DSP that is compatible with Dante was exhibited for the first time. Additionally, various other products, such as "DirectOut Technologies" MADI related products, "Millennia" mic pre-amps, "Burl Audio" AD/DA converters, and Holophone surround microphones, were exhibited. At the Video Production / Broadcasting Equipment Department (3311) demonstration corner, AVID S6 and S3 + Dock were exhibited. In addition to the newly released "iZotope Neutron," the RX5 and Ozone7, among others, were demonstrated.

■ OMICRON "OTMC-100i" (New product)
PTP (Precision Time Protocol) Grand Master Clock Generator. A product that can be used as a network grand master clock through the conversion of the ultra-high precision clock from GPS to PTP.
This is a must-have item for future transmission, such as network audio, video, and broadcasting. With PTP as the master clock, DirectOut Technologies products, Cymatic Audio products, and NTP / DAD products, among others, that are compatible with AES67 were connected through a network in the exhibit.

■ DirectOut Technologies MONTONE.42 (New product)
An AES67 compatible Audio-over-IP bridge unit with RAVENNA audio network as a base. Equipped with 4 x MADI (select from SC MM / SC SM / BNC / SFP) and 2 x gigabit network ports. The clock can be selected from MADI input, word clock, video reference, network (PTP), and internal. Through Java based remote control software, network streams, audio routing, and all device settings can be set up.

■ Cymatic Audio uTrack24 / option card (New product)
An EIA 1U rack mount sized Wav file recorder and player equipped with a balanced 24 x 24 input and output (D-sub25 TASCAM format). Optionally, "MADI Module" and "AudioLAN (AES67) Module" can be equipped.

■ Other Products Exhibited
DirectOut Technologies MADI related products, Millennia mic pre-amps, Burl Audio AD/DA converters, and Holophone surround microphones, and AEA ribbon microphones
