Raritan has been providing KVM over IP, serial consoles, and remote access solutions for 30 years, with a wealth of experience bringing systems to over 50,000 locations in 76 countries. They are headquartered in the U.S. and their manufacturing is done in Taiwan.
One of the system’s best features is its implementation of BIOS level remote access control. This enables secure remote access to PC’s and servers at the BIOS level without frequent visits to a data center. Machine repeating and reinstallation can also be performed at long distances. It also enables remote monitoring and troubleshooting of sequential feeds.
At the Raritan booth, the company demonstrated their perennial best-selling analog KVM products that have been moving the broadcast industry forward for years like the Paragon II, as well as new products like the advanced KVM over IP product, Dominion KX III, offering stunning video performance.
The Dominion KX III is equipped with a special long-distance “user station” furnished with existing analog KVM products. It supports 1920×1080 at 30fps, and is equipped with SSL and other security features.
RAV-IPDS-DEC enables transmission of a video signal up to 100km via fiber optic cable. The unit supports video transmission for outdoor signs including digital signage.
