【Inter BEE 2013】Rovi Will Demo 4K Playback With DivX HEVC Codec, Introduce HEVC Playback On Mobile Devices With SDK

Rovi (Booth 6302) is conducting a demo of 4K video playback using the DivX HEVC codec and the DivX player software, which makes possible high resolution 4K playback on a PC.

Rovi will also show their server-distributed encoding platform Total Code Enterprise as a solution for content delivery. Rovi will use a beta version of the software at InterBEE to demo high-volume bulk processing.

Total Code Studio is a tool for small-scale encoding that can be used in conjunction with Enterprise that Rovi will also be showcasing.

Additionally, Rovi will introduce HEVC playback technology on Android OS and iOS using the MainConcept HEVC mobile SDK and will also demonstrate how the product supports Sony's XAVC and Panasonic's P2 Long GOP.
