【Inter BEE 2013 TV】IDX ― Demonstrating CW-3 wireless HD video transmission system with 50-meter transmission range and latency under two milliseconds
2013.11.14 UP
IDX (booth 6501) is exhibiting the CW-3 HD video transmission system (scheduled to go on sale in March 2014) and the X-10 Lite and X-10 Lite F camera lights.
The CW-3 wirelessly transmits HD video and sound using the 5GHz frequency band, and is compatible with 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI. Latency for video transmission is below two milliseconds. Outdoor operation is possible using the DFS function, and it is not necessary to change settings between indoor and outdoor use. Maximum outdoor transmission range is 50 meters.
The transmitter has two external antennas, and the transmitter and receiver each have two 1/4" camera mounts, making them easy to attach to devices. With the mount unit accessory, it is possible to attach to an accessory shoe or a 1/4" camera socket. Electrical power range is 7-17V DC (both TX/RX).
The X-10 Lite and X-10 Lite F camera lights are new video lights compatible with JVC and Sony batteries. Power consumption is around 16 watts, but they produce about as much light as a 50-watt halogen bulb. Illuminance is 1450 lux. These products greatly limit the typical greenish radiance of LEDs and produce beautiful light. Input voltage ranges from 6-17V, and the products support slew voltage from a V-mount battery.
