【NAB Show 2017】Companies roll out new cinema lenses compatible with next-generation technology

　Hot on the heels of last fall's market activity, this year has seen the announcement of more new cinema lenses. The appearance in recent years of large-sensor cinema cameras and research and development of lenses compatible with next-generation technologies including 4K has resulted in a sudden surge of companies releasing new products.
Announcements include the new Thalia lineup from Leica's cinema lens division CWSONDEROPTICS, and two new lens types from Cooke known as the Panchro/i Classic and S7/i. SIGMA appeared at NAB for the first time after announcing its cinema lens lineup last year, and Angenieux has announced the new Optimo Style 48-130mm T3, and a front element filter for anamorphic lenses featuring a special coating on the top lens of the anamorphic lens.
Fujifilm hosted a special exhibition corner for its MK Series of compact, lightweight zoom lenses that were announced last month. Also present was Hong Kong's popular SLRMagic, which offers low-cost anamorphic lenses.
Additionally, Carl Zeiss announced a renewed series of its compact prime CP.2, as well as the even lighter and high-performance CP.3 series of ten lenses.
