Star Communications (Video and Broadcasting Related Equipment Division #5307) will show the new TVUPack series transmitters from TVU Networks. These transmitters allow real-time transmission of HD video over mobile phone networks.
The TVUPack series allows live broadcasts that were previously too expensive or technically impossible. It simultaneously uses several networks such as 3G, LTE, 4G and WiMAX to transmit HD video at high resolutions. TVU Networks also developed Inverse Stamux technology to monitor constantly changing wireless bands to process data efficiently.
This technology enables transmission of HD video over wireless mobile networks. Since the launch of the backpack style TVUPack 8100, which can simultaneously use up to 10 wireless USB modems, it has been used for a variety of applications, from TV programs to internet relay broadcasting. Its good results are highly appreciated.
■ Introducing new products, such as cloud and iPhone compatible products
In addition to TVUPack 8100, the following products will be shown.
[TVU Pack Mini]
This is a miniaturized version of the backpack style transmitter. It can simultaneously use up to a maximum of 8 lines. (6 wireless USB modems, 1 Wi-Fi connection and 1 wired LAN connection).
Much smaller than the backpack transmitter, it can be mounted on the camera or carried at the waist on a belt.
It is compatible with HD/SD-SDI, HDMI, and composite video inputs.
It was launched in August 2012.
[TVU Pack Anywhere]
Even without a backpack or Mini transmitter on hand, you can quickly convert an iPhone, other iOS device or Windows PC into a transmitter. Demonstrate the power of instant relay broadcasting.
[TVU Pack Cloud]
With this system, the transmitter and H.264 encoder are established in the cloud. All you need is a TVUPack series transmitter to easily transmit video to Ustream, Nico Nico Live or YouTube LIve.
