Hitachi Kokusai Electric is exhibiting the SK-HD1000, a high-definition camera that combines a unique design with high-performance and advanced features, at Inter BEE 2007, an international broadcasting equipment exhibition in Makuhari.
"The SK-HD1000 features a newly developed 2/3-inch 2.3-megapixel CCD, a low-noise circuit to deliver high sensitivity and a high signal-to-noise ratio. The camera also incorporates a technology to precisely glue the CCD to achieve a high horizontal resolution of 1,000 scanning lines." The body is a totally newly designed, so it looks cool. It is low-lying and very light.
The SK-HD1000 also uses low-power devices and a high-performance battery to reduce power consumption by 40% compared to its predecessor Hitachi 3200 Series, and can use the compatible accessories of the 3200 Series.
