[NEW] The acceptance of CEATEC 2019 exhibitor applications will commence on the 19th of February. The theme of the 20th exhibition is "Connecting Society, Co-Creating the Future."

On the 6th of February, The CEATEC Executive Board, consisting of the three organizations of the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association, the Communications and Information Network Association of Japan, and the Computer Software Association of Japan, have published the outline of CEATEC, which will be held for the 20th time. this year

The exhibition will be held over a period of four days, from the 15th (Tue) to the 18th of October. It will be held in the Makuhari Messe. From this time onward, CEATEC JAPAN, as it was known until now, has been renamed to CEATEC.
The theme of the exhibition is "Connecting Society, Co-Creating the Future." As a comprehensive exhibition which brings together the technological innovations of CPS/IoT, it will showcase the "co-creation" by all industries and business categories which have put the realization of Society 5.0 into motion, to the world.
(CPS = Cyber Physical System, an advanced system that connects IT to physical devices)

This year, the exhibition space will be divided into three new areas. The three areas of Total Solutions, Smart X, and Devices & Technologies will be set up as company/group exhibits. Additionally, we will set up the two areas of Society 5.0 TOWN and Co-Creation PARK as project exhibition areas for the organizers, which, combined with the company/group exhibitions, makes it a total of five areas.

At the conference, we plan to further expand the keynote speeches (CEATEC Keynotes), which drew a lot of attention last year. Details of various projects as well as conferences shall be announced at a future date.

We registered 725 exhibitors/organizations and 156,063 visitors at the exhibition held last year, in 2018. From the 19th of February, we will start to accept CEATEC 2019 exhibitor applications. The priority application deadline is on the 26th of April (Fri.) We will cease accepting applications once all booths have been signed up for.
