Canon Marketing Japan (booth #8411) calls its exhibit Full HD Imaging Eye-Land and is exhibiting the latest broadcast lenses and information cameras, filebase video cameras that have drawn much attention, the much discussed EOS single lens reflex camera, and more. Also, in the 3D shooting corner, an array of equipment is introduced and in the seminar corner, workflows for and actual examples of introduction of 3D shooting using filebase video cameras or COS movies are introduced.
The company introduced the following new products: An HD lens system the HJ15e x 8.5B KRSE-V that incorporates anti-vibration functions, and a range of wireless-demands that communicates between broadcast lenses and controllers with Bluetooth the WB-10T and WB-10R.
Also, compact and lightweight 4:2:2 50Mbps MPEG2 professional video cameras the XF105 and XF100 have been added to the XF Series professional line. The XF105 and XF100 are smaller, lighter in weight compared to the XF305 and XF300 (released in June 2010) by 41% in volume and 44% in weight. These models enable shooting outdoors where mobility is required and narrow indoor spaces. Also, the 1/3 diagonal, 2.07-megapixel single-sheet CMOS sensors on both models feature color filters. These models also feature high sensitivity with a minimum subject illumination of 4.5 lux, and wide dynamic range.
Canon unveiled the EOS 60D movie camera featuring a wide 3-inch variable-angle clear view LCD, which has been mounted for the first time on EOS cameras.
