Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association（JEITA： Representative Director/Chairperson Kazuhiro Tsuga, Chairperson of the Board, Panasonic Holdings Corporation）will hold the comprehensive media event Inter BEE 2024 (venue: Makuhari Messe / Mihama-ku, Chiba City) during November 13 (Wed)- 15 (Fri), 2024. Visitor pre-registration for Inter BEE 2024 is now open on the official website.
Now in its 60th edition, Inter BEE is widely recognized as one of Japan’s largest comprehensive media events, attracting professionals from the media and entertainment industries. This exhibition gathers experts and stakeholders from diverse fields, including sound, video, broadcasting, live entertainment, lighting, and telecommunications/distribution, as well as engineers and creators from a broad spectrum. Centered around “content,” Inter BEE covers every stage of content creation: creation, delivery, and receiving. The event provides a comprehensive platform for the latest information and business opportunities in the media and entertainment sectors.
The event will feature a scale of 1,058 exhibitors/organizations and 1,811 exhibition booths, organized into four sections: “Professional Audio,” “Entertainment and Lighting,” “Video Production/Broadcasting Equipment,” and “Media Solutions.
■ 1,058 Companies and Organizations from the Media and Entertainment Industry Share the Latest Information
Using Halls 2–8 (a total of seven halls) at Makuhari Messe, 1,058 companies/organizations representing the entire media and entertainment industry will exhibit. A wide array of the latest equipment, systems, software, applications, and solutions will be gathered in one place, presenting insights into the current and future state of the industry.
■Looking to the future, opening the door to a new decade.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary, the “INTER BEE AWARD” was established for the first time as an initiative to “look to the future and open the door to a new decade” in the media and entertainment industry. The final judging for the NTER BEE AWARD will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at the exhibition hall, with the awards ceremony to follow in the evening of the same day, 13.
In addition, the special “INTER BEE CINEMA” program commemorating the 60th exhibition will feature a hands-on cinema community focused on film production technology. Technicians and professionals working at the forefront of Japanese filmmaking will gather for live demonstrations on realistically recreated sets to share their techniques and creativity in filmmaking.
